The short version

Odiphile is a fully offline music player. It only plays audio files already stored on your device. The app has no internet permission, connects to no servers, and contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. No personal data is collected, stored, or transmitted — ever.

What Data We Collect

None. Odiphile does not collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, or telemetry of any kind.

What Stays on Your Device

All app data remains entirely on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. This includes:

  • Your music library and audio files
  • Playlists and playback preferences
  • App settings (audio mode, EQ, ReplayGain)
  • Recently played information

Network Access

Odiphile does not connect to the internet. The app requires no network permissions and makes no outbound connections. There are no servers, no cloud sync, and no remote endpoints.

Third-Party Services

Odiphile does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Facebook SDK, or any similar tools.

Audio Files & Permissions

Odiphile requests access to your device storage solely to read and play your music files. We use Android's Storage Access Framework (SAF) which gives you full control over which folders the app can access. No data from your files is ever extracted, logged, or transmitted.

Children's Privacy

Odiphile does not collect data from anyone, including children. The app is safe for use by all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Given our commitment to zero data collection, significant changes are unlikely.
